NESsT and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator in 🇵🇱Poland & 🇷🇴Romania
Social enterprises that lack financing options and are interested in business advisory services and mentoring from the NESsT and IKEA network are encouraged to apply. The program seeks to support enterprises that improve the livelihoods of low-income and underserved communities. Applications will be accepted until May 21, 2021.
Preference is given to enterprises that directly employ, place into employment or source from at least 50 people in the next 3 years.
Additionally, we seek to support social enterprises that can provide access to the green economy to individuals from vulnerable communities. Sectors of interest include:
Sustainable agriculture, food, food systems
Clean energy solutions
Circular economy and waste management
Re-forestation, nature conservation, land regeneration
Professional development and job placement in clean sectors
🛍️Retail Entrepreneurship Program with Parque Arauco
NESsT and Parque Arauco are selecting enterprises with social and environmental impact in Peru. The selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to participate in Retail Entrepreneurship Fairs hosted at Parque Arauco shopping centers throughout the year. Applications will be accepted until May 21, 2021.
Five enterprises will be selected to receive one-on-one business advisory services with NESsT specialists and Parque Arauco mentors on topics such as:
Product / service and social impact validation.
Improve business management and investment readiness.
Measurement of business performance and social impact.
Connections with the market, industry and allies.
Human Talent Management.
How to prepare the business for the retail channel.
Module for 6 months in one of the Shopping Centers of Parque Arauco
Upon completion of the accelerator, the best performing enterprise will be awarded a 6-month contract with flexible commercial conditions from Parque Arauco in one of its shopping centers.
🌳Amazon Indigenous Rights and Resources Program in Peru
NESsT, AIDESEP and WWF are welcoming applications from indigenous-led enterprises that improve the quality of life of indigenous communities and their environment through commercial operations of biodiverse resources in the Amazon basin. Applications will be accepted until May 21, 2021.
One enterprise will be selected to receive direct financing of up to $30,000 in the form of a grant to advance their commercial and impact activities, in addition to personalized mentoring and business services over the course of 6-12 months covering topics such as:
Increasing market access
Improving business management and preparing for investment
Measuring business, social and environmental performance
Connecting to communities and initiatives in the Amazon region
