Vivianne Naigeborin has more than 12 years experience in the social entrepreneurship field. Since 2010, she is the Strategic Advisor for Potencia Ventures, an international organization that invests in emerging markets around the world in order to support system-changing business models improving opportunities for the Base of The Pyramid. Potencia has been the first investor and principal strategic partner for a half-dozen key initiatives for social business in Brazil, including Vox Capital, a Brazilian impact investing fund and Artemisia Negócios Sociais, a social sector organization that develops high-performance teams and accelerates businesses that reduce poverty.

Prior to Potencia, Vivianne worked as a strategic consultant for companies and citizen sector organizations in the field of social business in Brazil. From 2000 to 2007 Vivianne was the International Director for Strategic Partnerships and Latin-America Integration at Ashoka Innovators for the Public. In this period, she launched and led the Ashoka-McKinsey Business Plan Competition for citizen sector organizations in eight South American countries and two publications on sustainable social businesses both in Portuguese and Spanish (2001 and 2006). She also participated in the Ashoka-Grameen Dialogue in Bangladesh in 2003.

Vivianne is part of the group that launched the First Brazilian MBA in socio-environmental business in 2012, a partnership among Artemisia, CEATS/ University of Sao Paulo and IPE. She is a board member at Artemisia Negócios Sociais, ANDE Brazil Hub, Vox Capital, and in other citizen sector organizations, including start-up social businesses.
