Tim Draimin is Executive Director of Social Innovation Generation (SiG), a collaborative initiative addressing Canada’s social and ecological challenges by seeking to catalyze a culture of continuous social innovation. SiG’s focus is enhancing Canada’s resilience by engaging the creativity and resources of all sectors to collaborate on social innovations that have impact, durability and scale.

Tim convened the Canadian Task Force on Social Finance, which produced the pathbreaking report — Mobilizing Private Capital for Public Good — laying out a seven-point agenda for fast-tracking social enterprise and social finance.

Tim is on the boards of Trico Charitable Foundation and Catherine Donnelly Foundation, and is past board member of the Social Investment Organization. He was the founding CEO of Tides Canada Foundation and authored Canada’s first survey of social entrepreneurship.
