They say that the first job in life provides you with the best memories. My happened in 2003 in a tourist agency where I organized and coordinated professional meetings, symposium and conferences, local and international congresses, study tours aimed at medical and pharmaceutical sector. After a few planned and then a few unplanned travels the time has come to settle. This happened in 2006 when I started to work for a pharmaceutical company as a marketing assistant for goods and services. A job in a multinational company offered me knowledge, skills and discipline that are immensely important in my work today. But, as all good things come to an end, with the economic downturn I was laid off in 2010, just after my maternity leave with my son Gabrijel. And, as it often happens in life, women become aware of their strength after they become mothers so I have embarked on another life’s journey: to find a new job – a yearlong disheartening process but with no choice to give up. In the end I found it at NGO RODA where I work as a Social Enterprise Manager developing business of ecological cloth nappies and I am truly loving it! And just to make sure my life is never boring I am currently doing an MBA in Management of Marketing Communications.
