Magdalena has master’s degree in psychology. Since 2004 she works for Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives – an independent non-profit organization. Its mission is a systemic approach and acting to increase employment, especially among the professionally inactive groups.

Since 2005 FISE has been animating discussions among NGOs and public administration about the development of the social economy sector in Poland through publications, conferences, seminars, trainings, etc. FISE is managing the biggest Polish internet portal on social economy,, and is in charge of the Standing Conference on the Social Economy (SKES) secretariat. Since 2006 FISE with other SKES partners has been organizing annual Polish Social Economy Meetings.

Since 2009 FISE leads Social Economy Support Centre for individuals, social economy entities, local authorities, labour market and social support institutions that are interested in using social economy tools to resolve local problems. Centre offers start-up donations, trainings, seminars, study visits, business counseling, etc. (until now over 500 beneficiaries). Magdalena was one of its creators and first Director (2009-2010) and since 2011 is its supervisor.

Since 2010 she represents SKES in Monitoring Committee for Operational Programme Human Capital (ESF) and takes part in discussions concerning sources of funding for social economy in Poland.

She is author of few publications related to social economy and vocational activation.
