Karim Harji is Senior Associate with E.T. Jackson and Associates, and served as the senior consultant on the strategic assessment of the Rockefeller Foundation’s Impact Investing Initiative. He also leads the firm’s monitoring and evaluation work with the Foundation’s Poverty Reduction through Information and Digital Employment initiative in Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and India.

Mr. Harji is a founding Partner at Venture Deli, a firm that capitalizes and builds the capacity of ventures that matter to the world. He is also the lead at Purpose Capital, where he advises investors, foundations, and financial institutions globally on their impact investment strategies.

Mr. Harji is the co-founder of SocialFinance.ca, the leading website on impact investing in Canada. He also holds an appointment as Senior Research Associate with the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation at Carleton University, and teaches social entrepreneurship at the Schulich School of Business at York University and the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Toronto. He sits on the Boards of the Small Change Fund and the Social Investment Organization.
