João César Lima is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Brazil. He has worked for the company for more than 25 years, rendering services in Brazil and abroad. Currently, he is member of the PwC’s Executive Committee in Brazil, and the managing partner of Rio de Janeiro’s office, which has 600 professionals in auditing, business and tax advisory services. He is also the coordinating partner of the Human Capital Management and Corporate Responsibility areas of PwC Brazil, with 4,700 employees in 17 offices.

With a comprehensive experience in the planning and in the coordination of external auditing works in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ clients, he also works as the company’s representative in the global forums in HR, Corporate Responsibility and Learning and Development areas.

João César Lima has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and in Business Administration.

João César is the Honorary Consul of Austria in Rio de Janeiro and was President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Rio de Janeiro (2007-2008), where he currently participates as a member of the Executive Committee. He is also member of the Development Council of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC – Rio), board member of Rio Como Vamos, an NGO whose main purpose is to monitor the development of the activities in city of Rio de Janeiro and member of the Advisory Board of NESsT in Brazil.

João César Lima is married to Fernanda and has 2 daughters – Maria Clara and Juliana
