Ana Maria Aristizabal is an Investment Associate with Bamboo Finance. She is responsible for developing and managing the company’s portfolios in Latin America.

Ana Maria has over six years of experience in investment banking, in entities like Citibank and ABN AMRO, where she specialized in capital markets and structured finance for clients in the public, infrastructure and energy sectors in Colombia. Prior to joining Bamboo Finance, Ana Maria worked as a consultant for IFC’s Microfinance Division and the UNDP Growing Inclusive Markets Initiative, and collaborated in market-based development projects in Haiti and Rwanda.

Ana Maria received her bachelor’s degree in Finance & International Relations from Externado University, and holds a Masters of Public Administration from Columbia University. Ana Maria speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. She is currently on the Boards of the MFIs Apoyo Integral Guatemala and Mexico, Bille in Brazil and provides strategic supports to FINAE in Mexico.
