According to a SERNAM study, more than 50% of women in the metropolitan area have suffered domestic violence. Of these cases, 34% have been related to physical and/or sexual abuse, and 16% have been related to psychological abuse. DOMOS seeks to address this problem upfront by teaching prevention rather than rehabilitation.
DOMOS offers courses on how to maintain healthy families and prevent family violence. to public insitutions and private companies. The workshops are designed to help improve worker productivity and reduce absenteeism, as well as reduce the incidence of domestic violence throughout the country.
