Position Overview

The Product Manager will be responsible for scaling NESsT’s Idea2Entrepreneur Suite of Tools to reach 500 entrepreneurs and their mentors globally.

Idea2Entrepreneur (I2E) is a platform of free online tools offered to entrepreneurs in NESsT’s portfolio and beyond. Explore it here!

The Talent Tool helps entrepreneurs to understand how to prioritize their skills development and activities based on the stage of their business. Entrepreneurs answer a series of survey questions and receive an evaluation on twelve talent competencies on which to focus, such as the ability to chart a path forward, to build a team, and to leverage a network of supporters and investors.

Talent is assessed relevant to each stage of the enterprise lifecycle:

  • Blueprint: start-up social enterprises.

  • Validate: validating business models and impact.

  • Prepare to Scale and Scale: managing growth and building systems while reaching large number of users cost-effectively.

I2E has been validated internally and with a group of external users (250 total). The Project Manager will oversee the activities of the program including the design, marketing, dashboard development, and sustainability model of I2E. We don’t anticipate modifications to the content of the survey, only modifications to the presentation and dissemination of the tool.

The position will report to the Development and Communications Manager and Co-CEO and will also work closely with local and international team members to execute the activities necessary for the platform.

This position works alongside our team based in Oakland, California, but you do not have to based in this location to apply. We’re happy to accommodate remote work for the right colleague!
