
Paola Estupiñán is the Enterprise Development Manager for NESsT in Ecuador. She is an economist with a Master's Degree in Social Policy and Strategic Management for Sustainable Territorial Development from the University of Bologna.
Paola has thirteen years of experience as an independent consultant for different institutions: Alternativa Foundation, Savings and Loans Cooperatives: Cooprogreso, Codesarrollo, Andalucía, Oscus, WOCCU (Project in Honduras), Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse, Ekos Economics Magazine.
In the private sector, she has implemented strategic planning and risk analysis projects; design of management information systems, identification, description, analysis and improvement of processes, optimization of results, industry analyses, and market research in geomarketing.
Over the years, she has undergone further training in management, administration, operations, marketing and coordination activities with several institutions. Her work has also contributed to the definition of actors, partnerships, potential customers and sales management in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca and on an international level in Honduras. She also interned for two months at the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh.
