In celebration of the NESsT 10th Anniversary, NESsT is hosting the Social Enterprise Symposium in Budapest to trace the evolution of the social enterprise field over the last decade and explore new trends and opportunities for the future.

The NESsT Social Enterprise Symposium brings together leaders from civil society, foundations/trusts, the corporate sector, and investors from across central Europe to share best practices for fostering social enterprises to promote community, economic, and rural development in the Visegrad region.

The NESsT Symposium is also intended to raise the profile of the valuable work of dedicated social enterprise leaders across central Europe and to examine the current obstacles and opportunities for fostering social enterprise in the region.

 

Symposium Goals

The Symposium is intended to:


- provide a venue for the exchange of lessons learned in social enterprise development in central Europe;


- increase the profile of social enterprise among donors/philanthropists, corporate leaders and investors in central Europe;


- explore innovative financing models for supporting social enterprise in central Europe.

 

Symposium Participants

The Symposium is an invitation only event for leaders from civil society, private foundations, the corporate sector and investors from across central Europe.
