Awards Reception
Wednesday, November 14, 2007
5:00 - 6:30 PM
(Hotel Helia, Budapest)
The NESsT-Citi Social Enterprise Competition was launched by NESsT in 2007 with support from the Citi Foundation to enable civil society organizations (CSOs) in Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia to plan for and launch social enterprises. CSOs selected through the national competitions received capacity building support from NESsT to develop a feasibility study for social enterprises that further their social impact and financial sustainability.
At the reception, NESsT and Citi will showcase competition finalists and present awards for the strongest social enterprise feasibility studies. Winners will receive financing and continued consulting support from NESsT to develop full business plans for their enterprises.
