Peter Varga is the Enterprise Development Senior Associate for NESsT Europe in Budapest. His main task is to oversee the NESsT Venture Fund Early Stage portfolio of Hungarian, Czech, Slovak and Croatian civil society organizations (CSOs), which includes identifying, selecting and performing due diligence with portfolio members, as well as providing training and individual consulting support in social enterprise and organizational development. He also assists the Enterprise Development Director in consulting and liaising with partner organizations and on research and publication projects. Peter is a member of the NGO Advisory Group of the International Step by Step Association and volunteers as an executive board member for United World Colleges Hungary. Peter joined NESsT following his graduation from the Central European University with an M.A. in International Relations and European Studies. He also holds a B.A. (honors, cum laude) in Political Science from Yale University. Having studied and lived for several years in Norway, England and the United States, he now lives in Budapest. |
