Lourdes Chuquipiondois the Communications Assistant at NESsT in Lima, Peru and is also responsible for the communications component of the RAMP – PERU project. She has a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos – UNMSM Lima, and received a scholarship from the Belgian Technical Cooperation to specialize in Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Social Projects at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. With over 10 years of experience, Lourdes has worked in various private and public organizations. In 2001, she played a key role in an information technology and communication (ITC) project for a British NGO in Peru as part of a multidisciplinary team addressing the issues of renewable energy, infrastructure, and basic services. Lourdes worked specifically on an Information Technology and Communication (ITC) project. Lourdes has been a consultant for a variety of organizations working on the TIC issue. She served as Supervisor of Communications and Corporate Image for a nonprofit in Peru, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of communications plans, the development of materials, and the creation of proposals for ITC projects on several key issues such as: health and disability, the environment, employment and corporate social responsibility, education, and many others.
