Background: Jen'I' Lafaurie is Group Director, Finance at VolunteerMatch, a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, California, dedicated to matching volunteers with volunteer opportunities in the community. Jen'I' directs the financial activities required to support daily operations and organizational growth decision. Prior to joining VolunteerMatch in 2002, Jen'I' worked as a Senior Consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, advising private organizations on business strategy and process redesign. Jen'I' brings to her work at VolunteerMatch experience with traditional and leading-edge nonprofit organizations, including NESsT, an international social fund that invests in NGO entrepreneurial endeavors. While in graduate school, she consulted with the Amy Biehl Foundation in South Africa and Grameen Bank in Bangladesh helping evaluate social venture strategies. Jen'I' earned her BS from UC Berkeley and her MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
