Javier Echarri is Secretary-General of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Assocation (EVCA), based in Brussels. He has been with the EVCA since 1999.
Prior to joining the EVCA, Mr Echarri was with BBVA Benelux as Institutional Banking Director in charge of EU institutions. Before that, he served as Secretary General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce for the Benelux for over 3 years. He has also held positions with the Spanish Machine Tools Industry Association and the Grupo Mondragon.
