Horia Manda

Mr. Manda has more than 12 years experience in equity and debt investments in South-Eastern Europe.
He joined the Romanian American Enterprise Fund (RAEF) in 1996, went through many professional levels from investment officer to Senior Vice-President & CIO. He had an essential contribution in structuring and closing the Balkan Accession Fund and is currently leading the fundraising of the third private equity fund to be managed by Axxess Capital.
Mr. Manda has an impressive track record in promoting international investment practice in Romania and the neighboring countries and in identifying local major business opportunities and potential investors.
Mr. Manda is actively supporting high-level academic and research projects in Romania acting as member of the Board of "Scoala Normala Superioara"(SNS), of Fullbright Commission in Romania and of the Romanian-Canadian MBA Program. He is Director of the Board of the Romanian American Foundation established in perpetuity by RAEF with an initial strategic focus on education, entrepreneurship (including job creation) and community development.
Mr. Manda has a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Paris VII, an MBA - summa cum laude - from the Canadian MBA Program, administrated by the University of Quebec, Montreal, and a M.Sc. - Physics from Bucharest University.
