Carlos García

Carlos García is currently Managing Partner of DLJ South American Partners a regionally - dedicated private equity fund. Prior to forming DLJ South American Partners, Mr. García joined Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in 1995 to focus on Private Equity Investing in South America.

He has served on the investment committee of DLJ Merchant Banking since 1995. Prior to joining DLJMB, he spent six years at Bankers Trust Company, where he ran the South American Merger & Acquisitions and Private Equity Group, and nine years at Bank Boston Argentina, where he was head of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Mr. García graduated as a Certified Public Accountant from the Catholic University in Argentina in 1981.

Mr. García serves on the board of directors of Grupo Peñaflor S.A., BOPP Holdings, Vitopel S.A., Zucamor S.A., Papel Misionero S.A.,   International Health Services Argentina S.A., Torneos y Competencias S.A., Arcos Dorados S.A. and L´Equipe Monteur S.A. Mr. García was a director of the Argentine American Chamber of Commerce, Jugos del Valle S.A., Atlántida Comunicaciones and several other private companies.  

Mr. García also served on the Board of Trustees of Northlands School in Argentina.
