“Several weeks into our project, it became apparent that NESsT had a depth of insight and magnitude of impact in emerging market countries that far exceeded it’s relative size. Through its innovative thought, commitment to social enterprise and self-enterprising, and its dedication to creating sustainable CSOs, NESsT introduced me to a new way of envisioning both the path and potential for social change in developing countries. I thoroughly enjoyed the project and returned to England energized in the belief that I could apply the lessons learned during business school to make a difference on existing and emerging economic and social challenges.” -- Brad Henderson Background: Brad completed his MBA at Oxford's Said Business School in September 2003. He received his BA in economics (Phi Beta Kappa) and MA in social science from the University of Chicago, where he attended as a College Honors Scholar. As a Rhodes Scholar, he completed an MSc in Economic and Social History at Oxford in 2002, researching race-related labor market inequality. He previously worked for two summers with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one summer with Goldman Sachs, and one summer completing social science research for the National Science Foundation. In 2001, he was awarded the NCAA Walter Byers Scholar-Athlete Award. Brad also was the captain of the University of Chicago basketball team and received his Blue with the varsity basketball team in Oxford. He will be joining the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago upon graduation in September. |
