Attila Schillinger is one of four founding partners and managing director of Avantgarde Group Business Communcation Ltd., operating since April 2003. Avantgarde Group is a pioneer of business communications in Hungary.
Attila has more than 10 years of experience in business communications, serving as managing director for various leading PR consultancies. Prior to returning to Hungary, he was managing director of Waggener Edstrom GmbH, the German subsidiary of the world's leading communications consultancy for technology and science companies. From 2000-2001 Attila served as Associate Board Director for AUGUST.ONE Communication, based in London. There he led a division responsible for mainly technology clientele. From 1997-1999, he worked for The Rowland Company, first as managing director in Hungary, later as Business Development Director in London.
Attila was
named one of the top 40 rising PR professionals in the world by PR
Week New York. He graduated from law school in Budapest in 1992,
then received a Public Relations MA at the Ball State University, United
States. Attila received the Young Alumnus Award from his alma mater for
his achievements in international public relations.
