Sandro Gamarra is an electronics engineer, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Universidad San Antonio de Abad del Cusco in 2008.

This young innovator is currently one of the partners of the company INGENIMED Cusco SAC, and with his team he is conducting research on equipment that detects heavy metals in the rivers of Cusco. He worked as an assistant to a University professor in 2009, and has been teaching at the institute DIDASCALIO CRISTO REY since 2010. Sandro past work experience includes researching and developing technology products for the health sector, such as NEOLED, phototherapy (light therapy) equipment for the treatment of neonatal jaundice. The phototherapy equipment ¨kangaroo mother¨ (a portable system that allows treatment of the infant while being carried by the mother) was granted a patent in 2011.
